Privacy Policy
Last updated: August 6, 2026
Sunflock is a family logistics assistant operated by Bito Inc ("we," "us"). This policy explains what information we collect, how we use it, and the choices you have. We wrote it to be readable, because the people using Sunflock are families.
What we collect
- Account information: the enrolling parent or guardian's name, email address, and mobile number.
- Family member information: the names and mobile numbers of family members that a parent or guardian enrolls, and the consent records for each enrollment.
- Schedule information: calendar events, school and activity schedules, and related details that parents choose to share with Sunflock so it can send useful reminders.
- Messages: the text messages sent to and received from Sunflock, so the service can respond sensibly and so parents can review activity.
How we use it
We use this information for one purpose: running Sunflock for your family — sending scheduling and logistics messages to enrolled numbers, responding to replies, and letting parents review and manage their family's account. We do not use your information for advertising, and we do not sell it.
Text messaging
Messages are only sent to numbers that a parent or legal guardian has enrolled and consented for. The first message to every enrolled number identifies Sunflock and explains how to opt out. Anyone can reply STOP at any time to stop receiving messages, or HELP for assistance. Message frequency varies by family; message and data rates may apply.
No mobile information will be shared with third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes. Information sharing to subcontractors in support services, such as customer service, is permitted. All other use-case categories exclude text messaging originator opt-in data and consent; this information will not be shared with any third parties.
Children
Sunflock sends messages to minors only when a parent or legal guardian has enrolled that child's number and provided consent. Parents can review their family's information, withdraw consent, and remove a family member's number at any time by contacting us, and any enrolled number can opt itself out by replying STOP.
Service providers
We use a small number of service providers to run Sunflock — for example, a messaging provider to deliver texts and a cloud provider to host the service. They process information only on our behalf and only to provide the service.
Data retention and deletion
We keep information only as long as the family's account is active or as needed to run the service. Parents can request deletion of their family's data at any time by emailing us, and we will delete it promptly.
Changes
If we change this policy, we will update this page and the date above, and for meaningful changes we will notify enrolled parents directly.
