The service
Sunflock is a family logistics assistant operated by Bito Inc. It sends scheduling and logistics text messages to family members enrolled by a parent or legal guardian, and responds to their replies. Sunflock is currently offered as a small private pilot, by invitation.
Who can sign up
Accounts are created by adults who are the parent or legal guardian of the family members they enroll. By enrolling a phone number, you confirm you have the authority to consent to messages being sent to that number, including for your minor children.
Messaging
By signing up, you agree to receive text messages from Sunflock at the numbers you enroll. Message frequency varies. Message and data rates may apply, depending on your mobile carrier plan. Any enrolled number can reply STOP to stop receiving messages or HELP for assistance. Carriers are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages.
Reasonable expectations
Sunflock helps with reminders and coordination, but it is an assistant, not a guarantee. Messages can be delayed or fail to deliver, schedules can be wrong at the source, and parents remain responsible for their family's whereabouts, transportation, and safety. Do not rely on Sunflock as the sole safeguard for anything important.
Your account
Keep your account information accurate, and only enroll numbers you have the authority to enroll. We may suspend or end accounts that misuse the service. You can close your account and have your family's data deleted at any time by emailing us.
Pilot service
Sunflock is early software provided "as is," without warranties of any kind. During the pilot, features may change, break, or be discontinued. To the fullest extent permitted by law, Bito Inc's liability arising from the service is limited to the amount you paid for it (during the free pilot: zero).
Changes
If we change these terms, we will update this page and the date above, and for meaningful changes we will notify enrolled parents directly.
